Whether it's during office hours or over email, their guidance has made a huge difference in how I approach challenges.
What is your favourite thing about your course?
My favourite aspect of studying Marketing and Brand Management at NTU is uncovering how strategic branding forges genuine emotional bonds with consumers. From diving into principles of marketing to mastering narrative-driven brand campaigns, each module shows how a well-crafted brand story can elevate a product into a meaningful experience. It's not just theory - we're actively learning to design brand journeys that truly resonate and endure.
Have you taken part in academic mentoring? What has this role involved?
Yes, I've taken part in mentoring, and it's been invaluable. My mentor helped me see how to position myself professionally, refine my brand, and carve out a path in the competitive brand space. It wasn't just about advice - it was about being seen, heard, and strategically guided toward success.
Have you had the option to personalise your course? How has this benefitted your studies?
Yes, NTU offers great flexibility with an optional placement year. The optional placement year at NTU delivers UK industry exposure. While I chose not to participate, I have seen the placement team expertly connect students with employers and refine their applications, always emphasising that, in the end, securing your ideal role comes down to your ambition and perseverance.
