If you live in England and accept a place on our LLM BTC for 2025 entry, you can apply for one of the government's postgraduate loans.

Our LLM BTC satisfies the academic requirements for the loans, so if you accept your place and submit the LLM dissertation or project element of your course, you can apply.

All of our Masters in Law (LLMs) qualify for the government's postgraduate loans.

Inderpal Rahal Memorial Trust

The provides up to two awards of £2,000 to enable women who are experiencing financial hardship to further their legal education. The award is designed for women from an immigrant or refugee background who intend to practise or teach law in the UK. Applicants should be undertaking or pursuing the BTC, legal research, training contract, pupillage, or other legal placement. Please email if you feel you are eligible for consideration.

The Law Society Diversity Access Scheme (DAS)

The Law Society  aims to increase social diversity in the legal profession by supporting promising entrants from disadvantaged backgrounds or those who face exceptional obstacles to qualification.

Eligible course: LLM Health Law

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities. Funded by the UK , Commonwealth Shared Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.
