Learn about NLS Legal

You won't have to travel far to witness what goes on inside a real law firm at Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Law School, because we have a multi award winning teaching law firm right on campus, which is the only fully regulated law firm within a Law School in the UK.

We provide hundreds of opportunities to our NLS students each year to gain a real life, valuable experience of the law whilst studying, with both intra-curricular and extra-curricular options available.

Students from all years can work with NLS Legal and are involved in all aspects of the running of our law firm, from dealing with new enquiries and helping monitor risk and compliance, to conducting client interviews, undertaking relevant research, drafting letters of advice and even representing clients at tribunal.

Support Through Court

You can gain legal work experience through our partner organisation, Support Through Court, a national charity that provides practical and emotional support to members of the public  going through court without representation.

NLS is the sole host university for Support Through Court's National Helpline and National Online Service creating both in-person and remote opportunities.
