What are the similarities between these courses?

  • Accreditation* - our courses are accredited, ensuring they are up-to-date and industry-relevant.
  • Shared modules - courses are formed of six core modules, three of which are shared with other construction management courses. This provides the opportunity for multi-disciplinary group work, extending your knowledge and peer network.
  • Project options - you can pursue a research project or undertake a work placement in industry.

*MSc Construction Management/MSc Project Management (Construction) accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES), and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE). MSc Quantity Surveying accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE).

What is the difference between these courses?

  • Entry requirements - MSc Quantity Surveying welcomes applications from prospective students who don't necessarily have a background (or qualification) in construction. MSc Construction Management and MSc Project Management (Construction) both require a construction-related qualification and/or industry experience. See course pages for more information.
