Dr Gabriella Mutale is a Research Fellow in the Social Work, Care and Community Department.
Career overview
Gabriella completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods at NTU. In 2016 Gabriella received her PhD in Psychology from NTU.
Gabriella has worked as a Research Fellow at NTU since 2015. In this role Gabriella has worked on research projects with the NHS and Council evaluating mental health and social care provision within Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire.
Research areas
Gabriella works on research projects evaluating local services within Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire. She is interested in projects that have an emphasis on improving mental health services, community support and social care provision for the people of Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire. Recent evaluation projects include:
- Evaluating Mental Health Support Teams in schools within Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé and Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire, funded by NHS Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé and Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire Integrated Care Board
- Evaluating a pilot of a Family Support and Safeguarding Model funded by Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire County Council
- Consent Is Everything Contextual Evaluation - Evaluating the NTU Consent Is Everything Programme for students.
- Evaluating the Safer Streets initiative in Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire with the Community Safety Partnership and the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
- Evaluating the Domestic Abuse Survivors Counselling Service provided by Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Women’s Centre.
