Role
As Associate Director, NTU Global, Chris is responsible for the implementation of the University’s internationalisation strategy, “Connecting Globally” within the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Business School, the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Law School and the School of Social Sciences. Working in close collaboration with Deans, schools’ Heads of Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé, academic and professional staff, he provides direction on internationalisation of the curriculum, transnational education, staff and student mobility and Collaborative Online Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Learning.
Chris is a member of the NTU Global Directorate and sits on the Schools’ Executive Team meetings, as well as on the University Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈéisation Committee.
Career overview
Chris joined the University in 2012, as Head of Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé for the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Business School. In 2016, he went on to work for the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences as College Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Manager. Prior to joining NTU, Chris worked in similar positions for Engineering and Business Schools in France. His earlier career included working as a developer for the France Telecom Research Centre in their IT and Linguistics department and the Chamber of Commerce of St Omer in Northern France. Chris graduated from the University of Metz, France with an MA in IT and Linguistics.
Research areas
Chris is particularly interested in transnational education and sustainability in the field of international education, especially around the reduction of the carbon footprint of internationalisation activities.
