Role

Danial is a Lecturer at the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Law school. He has been involved in teaching Law in Action, Applied Legal Knowledge (Civil), Public Law and Criminal Litigation modules on the Professional Post Graduate Courses including the SQE course in the law school.

His primary roles include teaching and assessing on the  following modules:

Undergraduate law modules:
- Immigration and Asylum Law
- Applied Legal Knowledge (Civil Practise)

Post graduate courses:

- Criminal Law and Practise (Solicitor  Qualifying Exam SQE)
- Professional Conduct and Solicitor's Accounts (Solicitor Qualifying Exam SQE)
- Criminal Advocacy (Bar Training Course BTC)

Danial is the module leader for the Immigration and Asylum law module for final year LL.B course. Additionally, he is also involved in pastoral care for post-graduate students and is currently assigned as the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Student tutor for PGDL students at Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé law school.

Career overview

Danial read LL.B (Hons) at BPP University London before studying on the Bar Professional Training Course at the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé. He then went on to study an LL.M in Trans-National Criminal Justice with BPP University receiving an overall distinction where his dissertation focused on the status of civil enforcements tools of the UK in going after proceeds of organised crime.

Danial worked as paralegal at an Immigration based firm in London prior to joining Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé law school in September 2021.

Research areas

Danial keeps interest in areas of research involving  analysis of politico-legal aspects of Bangladesh with a comparative lens looking at both global and U.K trends. His is interested in exploring the future landscape of legal and political platforms and how the historic incidents of the country shape the days ahead.
