Role
Vanessa is Collaborations and Partnerships Coordinator, working in the Centre for Academic Development & Quality. Her role is integral to the development and continuation of strong, successful academic partnerships with organisations across the UK, by prioritising customer service and the effective management of data between NTU and each partner. She provides financial management of Validation Service provision and delivers effective governance process to ensure the quality of collaborative provision and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
Her role supports the development and expansion of Higher Technical Qualification provision at NTU and she is responsible for overseeing the administration of NTU’s portfolio of Pearson Higher National qualifications.
Vanessa works with a ‘Lean’ philosophy and is always looking for ways to make processes more efficient. This has helped to extend the capacity of the team to take on new work and improve the effectiveness of our processes.
Vanessa is the servicing officer for the Academic Partnerships Sub-Committee (AcaPSC), Joint Academic Advisory Board (JAAB) for Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Trent Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé College (NTIC), and Mansfield Standards and Quality Sub-Committee (MSQSC)
Career overview
Vanessa started working for the NTU in 2008 as a course administrator in the Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Business School. She joined CADQ in 2016 as the Collaborations and Partnerships Administrator. Vanessa worked for Strategic Planning and Change between July 2021 – October 2022 as a Project and Administration Executive before returning to CADQ.
