Role

Stuart is a Senior Lecturer in the Strategy, Analytics and Operations Department within Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Business School at Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé (NTU).  He is Course Leader for the Global Executive MBA and Online MBA and teaches a range of modules at postgraduate level on the Executive, Full-time and Global Executive MBA courses, and MSc in Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Management, specialising in strategic change management, data analytics and global consultancy.

Career overview

Stuart joined NTU in 2019 after a successful career working in industry. Prior to becoming a full-time academic, Stuart was a Vice President / Sector Director for two Global Technology Consultancy / Outsourcing companies. He also set up and ran his own IT consultancy business and he is a Non-Executive Director / Company Secretary for an SME in the East Midlands.

Stuart holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, majoring in Strategic Management and Managing Change, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning. Stuart is also a Chartered Manager (CMgr), Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and Fellow of Advance Higher Education (FHEA). He is also a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM) and a committee member for the BAM Management Consultancy Network. He is currently studying part-time for his PhD – using the theory of Customer Engagement Stuart’s project is researching how more value can be created for firms and subscribers who engage in a subscription arrangement.

Research areas

Stuart is a PhD researcher undertaking research on value creation in the Subscription Economy.
