Role
Libby was elected as Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Trent Students’ Union Vice President Education and began the role in July 2024. During her studies of BA (Hons) Philosophy and Global Studies at NTU, and her role as NTSU History Society Social Secretary, she actively strived for an enhanced student experience, providing events and advice catered to students’ needs.
As VP Education, Libby attends various quality assurance boards and academic standards committees at the University which allows her to voice the academic needs of students to those at the highest levels of the organisation. Her overarching aim is to continuously enhance the student experience and foster greater engagement by actively representing and addressing the concerns of all students. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where every student's voice is valued, ensuring that their needs and feedback are integral to shaping the educational landscape.
Through her efforts, she strives to cultivate a supportive and dynamic community that empowers students to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Working alongside other Executive Officers and NTSU’s wider team, Libby is committed to improving student experience and advocating for student support.
