Role
Dr Griffin teaches in the School of Arts and Humanities within the subject area of Philosophy, and is the Philosophy Subject Advisor. She teaches many aspects of philosophy, both at undergraduate and Masters levels, and is particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches. She is the Module Leader for Philosophy and Everyday Life; Philosophy and Media; Philosophy Dissertation; Philosophy and Film, and the Professional Research Practice Course module, Thinking Through the Thesis.
Research areas
Dr Griffin's research interests relate mainly to, philosophy of film / media / culture and existentialism. She is currently researching in psycho-geography, stemming from her conference paper, 'Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé, A Psycho-Geographical Tour of Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé', presented at the NTU conference, 'What's Nott to Like? Arts and Humanities research on Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé' (2013).
