Role

Bernadette is a Lecturer teaching on BA (Hons) Fashion Management. Bernadette is the module leader for Global Fashion Business delivering teaching on all elements of the Fashion industry. Being the key academic contact for merchandising, Bernadette brings a balance of creativity and business acumen to teachings. Bernadette also teaches internationally at our partner Hong Kong Design Institute delivering the BA (Hons) Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Fashion Business in partnership with Shape and NTU.

Career overview

Prior to joining Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé Trent, Bernadette spent several successful years as a fashion buyer within the retail industry. She has worked across a multitude of product categories with a wide supplier base travelling to various countries to source product ranges. Passionate about people development, she is now sharing her knowledge with undergraduate students. Bernadette has been involved with Fashion & Retail apprenticeships for many years both assessing learners and developing new relevant criterion.

Bernadette is a trustee for Smartworks Charity which uses fashion as a force for good to empower women back into the Workplace.
