Role
Dr Upton (née Redgate) is the Course Leader for the MSc in Equine Performance, Health and Welfare; MRes Equine Health and Welfare and MRes Equine Performance. Her teaching interests include equine nutrition, feeding behaviour, equine behaviour and equine and animal welfare issues. Dr Upton leads a number of undergraduate modules including Equine Nutrition, Nutrition for Health and Performance and contributes to Optimising Performance the MSc modules Equine Health, Equestrian Performance, Ethology and Welfare and Ethics and Consultation. She also supervises BSc and MSc student research projects.
