What the Professional Student Wardrobe offers

The Professional Student Wardrobe was set up in response to student feedback on the spiralling costs of professional workwear and the difficulties in accessing this. We are also conscious that cheaper options are usually fast fashion, one of the biggest factors contributing to climate change.

That’s why we decided to partner with the charitable organisation  to set up the Professional Student Wardrobe — a service to support our students and graduates during a precarious economic and environmental situation to enable them to make sustainable choices. Our sustainability efforts were recognised by the AGCAS Sustainability Impact Award we won in 2024.

Where is the service located?

Located just behind the Employability Hub in Newton on the City Campus, you can be styled by one of our team who are there to help you find and achieve the right look for your recruitment activity.

Who can use the service?

The Professional Student Wardrobe is available to all students and graduates. You can take up to two items over the year – no catch or cost – all we ask is a few questions.

How else can the service help?

As well as offering guidance on what to wear and how to style your outfit, our team can also refer you to additional support with your application or practice interviews.
