Europe

Our NTU Global team have cultivated great opportunities for partnership, collaboration and exchange in Europe. Find out more about the collaborations currently in place with our European partners.

Collaboration with our valued partners in Europe spans many borders, languages and disciplines. Working with our partners we provide life-changing, full-year and semester study abroad opportunities for our students and those of our partners.

We have developed innovative joint and dual degree programmes, and continue to collaborate on important research and consultancy projects. Please get in touch with NTU Global team if you would like to learn more about our work across Europe and if you would like to get involved.

The Turing Scheme

Turing Logo

The  operated by the UK government provides funding for students in higher education. It allows thousands of students to pursue international opportunities in education, work or training.

The £110 million scheme will replace the UK's participation in Erasmus+ following departure from the EU. The scheme will allow around 35,000 students to study and undertake work placements both in Europe and across the world, starting in September 2021.

This scheme specifically target students from disadvantaged backgrounds and areas, which previously saw only a limited number of students benefiting from Erasmus+ funding, making life-changing opportunities accessible to everyone across the country.

To find out more and to discuss partnering with us through the scheme, please contact ntuglobal@ntu.ac.uk.

Featured projects and partnerships in Europe

NTU European Cities Challenge

This student-led extracurricular project was first initiated by NTU Global in 2019. Participants travel to various European cities using sustainable transport to research effective and innovative practices. These practices are then brought back to their communities with the engagement of local councils.
