Introduction:

Please note: This course is delivered through the Enterprising Ashfield project, which is funded by the Government's Towns Fund. Å·ÃÀ¾ÞÈé (NTU) is pleased to offer free (fully funded) places on this course to support individuals and employees of businesses that are based in the towns of Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The cost of this course is usually £550.

This one day workshop is aimed at current or aspiring leaders wishing to become a more inclusive leader.  You will develop your confidence and competence in working with and managing people from different backgrounds and experiences, enabling you to harness unique talents for the benefit of both individuals and your business.

Whether you’re wanting to refresh your leadership skills in managing new team members, or are planning a wider programme of inclusion, this course will provide you with practical insights and the tools needed to foster an inclusive environment within your real world challenges.  The course addresses the opportunities and challenges relevant to contemporary organisations and current legislation

Tutor profile: Anne Cockayne

Anne is a senior lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management and is a qualified coach. She contributes to the Learning and Development module for the professional CIPD programmes at NTU and supports the FT MSc HRM students as an academic mentor. Anne continues to enjoy working with the SME sector.

Entry requirements

You must be over the age of 18 in order to attend this course.
